DIY Lint Logs

posted Jan 20, 2014 01:23:58 by Consfearacynewz

DO NOT throw out that dryer lint. You are actually sitting on a fire starting gold mine.
What you will need.
Dryer Lint and Vasoline

Step 1
Flatten out your dryer lint

Step 2
Heat Vasoline until it melts(be careful that NO flames comes into contact with the Vasoline)

Step 3
Pour melted Vasoline onto dryer Lint in an even manner.

Step 4
Roll the lint up into a log as the vasoline becomes cool enough to handle the lint w/o burning yourself.

Step 5
Cut off pieces of the log as needed for fire starter. The rest can be stored in a baggie or water proof container.
This is just like soaking cotton balls in Vasoline for A DIY fire starter but you are using Dryer Lint instead.

Made my 1st one tonight.
